Welcome to styleNorth!
It’s easy to have a fabulous home if you’ve got deep pockets. Unfortunately, I’ve got Elle Décor taste and a flea market budget. That’s where styleNorth comes in. I started this blog for anyone with great taste and limited means. StyleNorth wants to be your go-to source for terrific deals and fabulous finds, connecting Canadian readers with decorating resources.
We’re starting small, just myself and a couple of volunteer contributors, focusing on Toronto at first with plans to grow the site to include other Canadian cities. We’ll feature inspiring rooms and furnishings that we hope will encourage you to shine up your own space, whether it’s your home, your cottage, even your office cubicle.
We hope you’ll use our “Tips” link to let us know when you see a fantastic piece that you just don’t have the room or the money for; join our community and share your discoveries with like-minded shelter nuts. Too many decor magazines feature finishes and furnishings way out of reach of the average Canadian. Most of us don’t have mammoth spaces and limitless budgets—we have to rely on ingenuity and flare. That’s what styleNorth is here to bring you. Welcome!

An avid surfer of home style blogs like Apartment Therapy, Design*Sponge, etc., Chris was frustrated by a lack of comparable Canadian sites so he started his own. Welcome to styleNorth!
