Cora Golden's latest book may not be home decor but it's definitely concerned with Canadian design. The co-author of Design in Canada has turned her attention to master Canadian jewellers in this stunning new e-book, which includes over 220 photographs of remarkable, rarely seen jewellery created between 1950 and 2000. Volume I (of a two-volume series) profiles 25 master Canadian designers and ateliers, and includes photographs of jewellery that has won awards, been collected by museums, or designed for celebrities ranging from Princess Diana to Pope John II.

I was underwhelmed by the 15th annual Interior Design Show. There were some great moments — pieces I loved, spaces that sang -- but when all was said and done there just wasn't enough WOW on the floor. Riffing on the theme of How Do You Work? only BlackLab Architects really delivered with a simple but magnificently effective backdrop wall made of coloured pencil crayons. It was the strongest moment in the entire show.
