Saturday’s styleNorth garage sale came and went in the blink of an eye but holy cow, what a success! People were lined up from 8:30 am and when the clock struck 9 we were deluged by cheerful bargain hunters. I want to thank everyone who came out and shopped with special thanks to NOW’s Andrew Sardone and The Grid’s Deal Junkie for featuring the sale in Thursday’s papers. Thanks also to my guest sellers, Susan, Lin, Kevin, Ingrid and Tim (Design Maze) and Amy (Eye See Pretty), above. You brought some great stuff and that’s ultimately what made the sale such a big success. Thanks, too, to Amy’s husband Peter for the pics!

Thanks for the excuse to come to the big city for the day. My wife bought six cookbooks for our daughter and wouldn’t let me get the Todd Oldham wooden vase.
