DAMN YOU MOZILLA! This morning I made what feels like a fateful mistake; I clicked “Yes” on Firefox’s offer to upgrade my browser to the latest version, 4.0.1, and in the process knocked out my Craigslist Image Preview. Ugh!!! I’ve now lost the functionality that made me a CL star, at least in my own mind. Thanks to Image Preview I was able to pick a Paul McCobb travertine coffee table on Craigslist for just $20, among other amazing scores. But now I fear those days are behind me, at least until I can find another compatible preview tool, either that or switch browsers. If you’re using CL Image Preview be warned.

Suggestions
1) Somewhere in options make sure javascript is turned on; the new version may have turned it off for some reason
2) Simply role back and install the old version of Firefox
3)…or just keep checking the authors site for a new version http://jeffpalm.com/craigslist/ assuming there might be a bug to be fixed
4) Forget Craigslist, save your money for the Christie Classic in a couple weeks

The same thing happened to me a year ago and I still had 4 months left on my subscription to CL image preview.

Yay team! Thanks for the suggestions. Sally, I’ll take a look at Craigs easy button; I also found Craigslist Image Prefetch, which provides the full description in addition to the pics, just like Greasemonkey.

Hey Chris…I’m loving Prefetch. Used in on both MAC and PC on the previous version of Firefox and now on 4.0.1 and it still works great.
