I got an email today from styleNorth reader Elizabeth who wrote to say that “the beautiful Milo Baughman chairs you wrote about last year that were for sale on Craigslist . . . well, I lucked out and got them! The evolving nature of our decorating is leaning much more heavily to the Arts and Crafts side and we are re-selling our Baughman chairs on Craigslist. If there is any way that you could let your followers know, that would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much!” So there you go. My original prediction that the chairs would probably wind up “in a Leslieville shop window next week for two or three times the price” still holds.

Hey Chris,
First, let me say that I am thrilled to have you back, blogging on matters of style and interiors. I don’t comment often but you DO know that am an avid reader of the postings and a big fan of yours.
Your new place, what you have divulged so far, looks as cozy and stylish as any other you have shared.
Elizabeth’s posting, inre the Milo Baughman chairs, is interesting as I have it on good authority that Coggin Thayer, Baughman’s manufacturer of his original “951-103″ chair, has ressurected the design and re-introduced it (as the Milo Chair) at Toronto and Calgary’s own Crate&Barrel. I have been told the chair is available to order now and will be on their salesfloors within the next week or so.
Anyway, you are doing well and we are glad for’t.
Best,
Wallis

Wallis, fantastic to hear from you, and thanks for the tip about C&B’s reissue of the Baughman chairs. Such sexy, sexy chairs, I’m sure they’ll do very well with them. All the best!
