A styleNorth reader tipped me off to Kobe Fabric Outlet in Burlington, Ontario, just a few highway exits west of the fabulous Moveline Liquidations. Kobe had some pretty fantastic prices on fabric by-the-yard, lots of it reduced by 65 per cent.
But what really stood out at Kobe were the inexpensive cushions and pillow forms. The 20″ x 20″ accent cushions, above, were priced at just $29.99, a great price for fabric and fill of this quality. And that’s just a tiny taste, there were literally walls of accent cushions to choose from in the $15 – $30 price range.
In the unlikely event that you can’t find a ready-made piece that you love, Kobe Outlet is an excellent source for inexpensive pillow forms: fibrefill forms are priced from $4.25 for 12″ square to $13.75 for 30″ square, featherfill forms run from $10 for 12″ to $70 for 30″ with bolsters also available.

Morning Chris,
Another store I’ll check out.
Which brings up your survey and the last question.
‘Have you ever purchased a product after seeing it on stylenorth?’
You should’ve had 3 boxes… No, Yes and Many times!!!
Many thanks again.

I’m thinking i need to reserve a zipcar this Saturday… Hit both!

Jo, so you use ZipCar? I’m with AutoShare and I have to say that the ability to rent an array of vehicle sizes, all the way up to a cargo van, has made all the difference in my Craigslist pursuits. Breakfront cabinet? Daybed? Seven foot potted tree? No problem, Autoshare can handle it. Thanks goodness.

Will be hitting up both stores in the coming week! As soon as we have a sofa… time for the pillows. Thanks, Chris!

Chris, I took myself on a road trip last Friday and followed in your footsteps! I visited both MoveLine and Kobe. And I was not disappointed! I have been looking for years (seriously) for just the right little round side table for my living room. And I found it! After my designer’s discount I walked away having spent $35 and I’m thrilled. Once I paint it with a high gloss teal it’s going to look awesome! And so my shopping craving was thus satisfied that I didn’t have to give in to my throw pillow addiction when I stopped in at Kobe. (but I’m grateful to know it’s there.) Thanks, I love your blog!
