What Goes Around . . .

Inspired by my post about paint and paper expert Mike Scapillati, styleNorth reader Elena sent me a photo of the wallpaper in her grandmother’s guest bedroom: “Everything else in the house has changed over the years but being a spare room this one has never been touched.” The paper, which went up in the 1960s, really is amazingly current. “Look at the celiling fixture,” adds Elena, “Have I got a cool Nana, or what?” Yes you do!

    Hi Chris,
This is from my Nana regarding the posting…

“I find it amusing that the wallpapers in the upstairs bedrooms are so “now” and I was very interested to learn that your friend has posted the picture you took (thanks for e-mailing it). I just think that whatever is or was really beautiful, will always be beautiful.”
