Toronto’s Distillery District is leading the design charge this week: yesterday, President’s Choice took over Arta Gallery for a lawn and garden event promoting its latest eco-friendly garden and patio products and then on Saturday and Sunday (May 2 & 3) Kimberly Seldon’s Designer Market takes over the Fermenting Cellar featuring 40 vendors offering contemporary, vintage and antique furniture, collectibles and fabrics.
With temperatures climbing and the sun shining, PC couldn’t have asked for a better day to roll out the barbecues, hammocks and patio umbrellas. PC Home has tiny urban balconies in mind with its space-saving Resin Wicker Bistro set ($130 for three pieces), below left, and the compact Master Cook 20,000 BTU BBQ ($140).
The company has also launched a national recycling program for gardeners that helps keep all those plastic pots and seedling sleeves out of landfill. And with Ontario having just banned lawn and garden pesticides and herbicides, PC is promoting its chemical-free weed seed inhibitor and fertilizer made from corn gluten. Now that’s sexy.

I really love what you write here, very refreshing and smart. One issue though, I’m running Firefox on Linux and parts of your content are a little broken. I know it’s not a popular setup, but it is still something to to keep in mind. Just giving you a heads up.
