Born in Toronto in 1974, the One of a Kind Show has extended its reach to Vancouver, Chicago and New York City. Still the biggest of the bunch, the Toronto event is back beginning today thru December 7 and the home decor options are dizzying. The photos above give a small taste of what’s on offer from more than 800 craftspeople and artisans. The armchair (from left) is by Lambert Ouellet (Cocobolo Design), the garden statue is by Douglas MacDonald ($125), the vase is by Anne Armstrong (Brickworks Pottery, $250), and the enamelled, turned wood lamp with hand painted lamp-shade is by Alexandre Brault ($415).
One of a Kind runs weekdays 11 am – 10 pm, Saturdays 10 am – 9 pm and Sundays 10 am – 6 pm; tickets are $12, $10 if you buy them online. Direct Energy Centre, 100 Prince’s Boulevard, Exhibition Place.
