Heads Up: For the Love of Cloth

I admit I’m a little reluctant to post this item; the more of you who know about For the Love of Cloth, the less fabulous fabric there will be to go around when the Textile Museum of Canada (55 Centre Avenue, Toronto, 416.599.5321) hosts a special fundraiser on Friday and Saturday (Nov. 14, 11 am – 5 pm and Nov. 15, 11 am – 1 pm).

Non-designers can’t normally access many of these fine fabrics from Cowtan & Tout (above), Scalamandre, Colefax & Fowler, Chelsea Textiles, Pierre Frey, Jane Churchill and Holly Hunt (below the jump), among other big names.

Hosted by Museum volunteers, For the Love of Cloth will be held in the venue’s mezzanine and admission is free. Unique prints and lots of rare finds–all donated by Designers Walk anchor Primavera Interior Furnishings–will be in the offing. The sale also features a craft section with one-of-a-kind items created by the volunteers especially for this sale.
